This contemporary ceramic sculpture is entirely handbuilt in terracotta and fired at low temperature (920°C).
The surface is treated with multiple layers of red engobe, applied in successive stages to create tonal depth and subtle material variation. The vertical carved lines structure the form and reinforce its upward movement.
The figure emerges as an archetypal presence, suspended between corporeal and symbolic dimensions. The intense red evokes vitality and transformation, while the verticality of the form suggests growth and internal tension.
