Artist Statement
I am an Iranian contemporary ceramic artist based in Italy. My practice spans sculpture, architectural terracotta reliefs and handcrafted ceramic surfaces.
Working primarily with terracotta, I explore the relationship between nature, memory and symbolic form. Each piece is shaped entirely by hand, allowing the material to retain its tactile richness and quiet imperfections.
Rather than creating decorative objects, I seek to make works that become part of the spaces they inhabit establishing a subtle dialogue between sculpture, architecture and the natural world.
Bespoke Ceramic Works
Every project begins with a conversation.I create bespoke ceramic sculptures, architectural terracotta reliefs and site-specific installations designed in dialogue with the architecture, the surrounding space and the people who inhabit it.
Each commission is individually developed, from the initial concept and drawings to modelling, firing and installation, resulting in a unique work created exclusively for its destination.
